Residential
A container sized for what you are actually tearing out
Cabinets and drywall fill volume. Tile and mortar fill weight. We size for the material so the box leaves legally loaded the first time.
- 12 yard for a single-room remodel
- 20 yard once flooring or multiple rooms are involved
- 10 yard when tile, mortar, or concrete is the bulk of it

Sound familiar?
- A container too small for a project that grew mid-demo
- Weight limits hit before the box looks full
- Driveway damage from a loaded container
- Paying for a week when the work took three days
Size for the material, not the room
The most common remodel mistake is ordering by room count. What actually determines the container is what is coming out of it.
Light and bulky — cabinets, drywall, carpet, trim, packaging. This fills volume. A 12 yard handles a single room; a 20 covers multiple rooms or a project with flooring.
Dense and heavy — tile, mortar, thinset, concrete, plaster. This fills weight. It belongs in a 10 yard, which sounds backwards until you learn the constraint is the truck's legal axle limit rather than the space in the box.
If your project produces both — a bathroom with tile plus a kitchen with cabinets — tell us on the quote call and we will size for the mix.
Projects grow. Plan for it.
Remodels expand once walls are open. If you are genuinely between two sizes, go one size up: a single swap-out costs more than the difference between a 12 and a 20, and the larger box absorbs the surprises.
The exception is heavy material, where going bigger buys you nothing but a container you cannot legally fill.
Your driveway
Boards go under the rails on every residential drop, which is what lets concrete and asphalt carry a loaded roll-off without damage. We need about 60 feet of straight approach, 22 feet for the container, and overhead clearance — watch for basketball hoops and low branches.
Fresh concrete is the one real exception. If a pour is recent, tell us and we will stage elsewhere until it cures.
Only pay for the days you use
The standard rental period is seven days, and you do not have to use all of them. Call for pickup the day you finish and the container stops being your problem. If the project runs long, call before the scheduled pickup and extend — an extension arranged on day five is routine, while a container we arrive to collect that is half loaded with nobody home is a wasted trip and a fee.

Common questions
What size dumpster does a kitchen remodel need?
A 12 yard covers cabinets, countertops, appliances, and flooring for most kitchens. Move up to a 20 if you are also pulling tile or doing more than one room.
Why does tile need a smaller container?
Weight. Tile, mortar, and concrete are dense enough to reach the legal haul limit long before they fill a large box. A smaller container with the same tonnage allowance is the right answer, not a bigger one.
Will it hurt my driveway?
We put boards under the container rails on every residential drop. Concrete and asphalt both handle a loaded roll-off fine with boards down.
