Who we are

JOTS Rentals, LLC (“JOTS Rentals,” “we,” “us”) rents portable restrooms, restroom trailers, and roll-off dumpsters across East Texas. This policy covers https://jotsrentals.com and the quote requests submitted through it.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you request a quote or contact us, we collect:

• Name and phone number
• Email address, if you provide one (it is optional)
• Delivery ZIP code and, where you tell us, the job address
• The service you need, your timeline, and any job details you describe
• Whether you opted in to marketing text messages

Information collected automatically

With your consent, we collect standard analytics data: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, referring site, and campaign parameters such as utm_source. If you decline, we do not run analytics or advertising tracking.

Regardless of your choice, our servers process your IP address briefly to apply rate limits and block automated abuse. We store only a truncated, irreversible hash of it, never the address itself.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect payment card details through this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. We do not collect sensitive personal data as TDPSA defines it, and we do not sell personal data.

How we use it

• To respond to your request and provide a quote
• To deliver, service, and pick up rented equipment
• To bill you and keep business records
• To send marketing texts or emails, only where you opted in
• To understand which pages and campaigns bring in customers, with your consent
• To meet legal, tax, and safety obligations

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract:

• HubSpot — customer relationship management, storing your contact record and our correspondence
• Google (Analytics and Ads) — website measurement and advertising performance, only with your consent
• CallRail — call tracking and recording, only with your consent
• Resend — delivering quote request notifications to our staff
• Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a sale or merger of the business.

Call recording

We may record or monitor phone calls for quality and training. Texas is a one-party consent state, and where calls are recorded you will be notified at the start of the call.

Text messages

We send marketing texts only to people who checked the opt-in box on our quote form. Consent is never a condition of renting from us. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.

Separately, we may contact you by phone, text, or email about a specific request you submitted, in order to answer it.

Your rights under Texas law

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives Texas residents the right to:

• Confirm whether we process your personal data and obtain a copy of it
• Correct inaccuracies in it
• Delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you
• Obtain a portable copy in a readily usable format
• Opt out of targeted advertising or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects

To exercise any of these, email info@jotsrentals.com or call (903) 236-4019. We will respond within 45 days and may extend once by another 45 days where reasonably necessary. We may need to verify your identity before acting. If we decline, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if the appeal is denied you may complain to the Texas Attorney General.

Universal opt-out signals

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we automatically treat it as an opt-out of analytics and targeted advertising and do not ask you again.

Cookies and your choices

Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working and let you submit the quote form; these cannot be switched off. Analytics and marketing cookies load only after you accept them. You can change your mind at any time:

How long we keep it

Quote requests are retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction so we can follow up and maintain records. Customer and billing records are kept as long as tax and contract law require, typically seven years. Analytics data follows the retention configured in Google Analytics, currently 14 months.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are transmitted encrypted, and access to customer records is limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We will update the “last updated” date above when this policy changes. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
